Ruka x Hitsugi Hitsugi sat down on his couch. He sighed deeply as one of his cats, the small tabby, jumped onto his lap. "Hello, kitty kitty... You're looking especially pretty today. What have you been doing with your fur?" he said with a smile. Hitsugi patted the cat on the head, it purred loudly. He continued petting the small animal looking around the small living room. "What a mess," he said to himself, "I should really clean this up some time." He stared at the shirt on his floor. That was a mess? |

Then Ruka comes in, stubbling,,,"what did I miss?" he asked.Then, as if someone had hit him with a brick, he fell to the floor, uncoincious. He later awoke to a dirty shirt of Hitsugi's in his face. Then he jumped to his feet to see the taby staring at him, laughing. "stupid cat", he said looking for his missed party...

Hitsugi stared down at his friend, "Is Ruka-san drunk?" he questioned, pushing the small cat aside, "Well...Atleast the shirt is kind of taken care of..." He said slowly. Hitsugi stood up to help Ruka. "You should really monitor how much you drink, Ruka-san. You could hurt yourself someday." He laughed quietly and bent down to grab Ruka off of the floor.

"Yeah, okay,-hiccup- sure, I have been -hiccup- partying a little-hiccup- lately....Hey, mabye you could -hiccup- come with me tonight. Big party at Yomi's place. -hiccup-" As Ruka Spoke, He settled himself on the couch to watch the television, even though it was off. Hitsugi Handed him a bottle of water and Ruka downed it quickly." I want a taco..." Ruka said as he jumped up and headed for the door.  |

Hitsugi slowly looked up at Ruka, "Are you okay? Your usually, so...calm," he pointed out. He looked over at the cat that was sitting on the coffee table. Cleaning herself, like she always was. "Maybe I should do the same..." He said quietly, still staring at his cat. The animal looked up at him, her paw still in the air as if she was trying to grab at an imaginary toy. Hitsugi looked at Ruka, "I'm gonna go take a shower...Will you be alright?" He asked.

"Um they should be in my room? If they aren't check the kitchen." Hitsugi slowly moved to the bathroom. Hitsugi's small cat hopped off of the table and followed him. He looked back and picked her up slowly. "No, no. Go annoy Ruka-san for me, 'kay? I'm sure you'll have fun with that." The cat stared blankly into Hitsugi's face, it meowed loudly and leaped out of his hands. Hitsugi shook his head and closed the bathroom door. He looked around for a clean towel. "Ruka-san should really learn how to clean up after himself..." he said to himself grabbing a towel and one of Ruka's shirts off the ground.

Ruka was walking into the kitchen when he realized he was being fallowed...(sp) He turned to see the tabby sitting behind him. "hey, you cat, Have you seen my green shirt? It....was..in the bathroom...Go get it will ya?" He truned to look for the keys in the small basket next to the sink, when the cat pounced. It landed on Ruka's back, claws out. "OW!!"The cat dropped to the ground and attacked his toes.(good thing he had shoes on) Then, While the cat was attached to his foot, he kicked it into the bathroom door. As if it had been planned, the bathroom door swung open and the cat flew into the green shirt of Ruka's and a towel. The cat meowed in annoyance and stumbled out tward Ruka. "thankyou" he said, pulling the shirt of the cat as he jumped onto the back of the couch and hissed loudly...

Hitsugi jumped back, "ugh, can't you people knock!?" he screamed. Hitsugi closed the door and stepped into the shower. He looked at the selection of shampoo that he had. "Strawberry? Or, blueberry?" he asked himself holding up two small bottles. He looked at both, "Oh I know!! I'll just mix them!!" He yelled out, tipping the strawberry shampoo into one hand, he sniffed, smiled then put the blueberry ontop of the strawberry. He smelled the strange mixture, "Oohh..." he said as he put both hands into his hair and began scrubbing the shampoo in.

Ruka searched through the box by the sink...no keys. He went into Hitsugi's room to look...and then he saw it, the alender. The calender had something written on it, on the day of yomi's birthday....which was in 5 days....."Uh-oh!! That's what Yomi's throwing a party for. His Birthday! oops!!" Ruka hurried to Hitsugi's desk to get the keys and rushed out to Mart.( It's Kinda like Wal * Mart, But without the Wal*) He ran in to find an older lady blocking his path. Then, in front of her was a child. He jumped over the old lady and ran around the child. Ruka looked at his watch, only 2 hours until the party. He tried to hurry by jumping down the stepps, but fell and knocked down an entire display of childeren's toys. Then Ruka jumped to his feet, dispite the crowd around him, he ran through them, knocking some of them down too. then he found what he was looking for...

Hitsugi stepped out of the bathtub, he grabbed the towel by the sink and wrapped it around his waist. "Ruka-san!!" he yelled, "Heey!!" he glanced out the bathroom window and down to where his car was. "Oh. I guess he left already. I'll go get changed." Hitsugi grabbed one of his old t-shirts and an old pair of shorts. He quickly put his clothes on and hurried downstairs. "Man, I'm so hungry, I could eat a cat!" he said stopping in the kitchen. He looked over at his cats who were staring at him. "It's a joke, guys. I'm not really gonna eat you." He walked in and put two waffles into his toaster. He waited until the popped out. Hitsugi grabbed his plate and walked into the living room. Where he sat, and waited for Ruka to return.

Ruka sat in Hitsugi's car, wrapping Yomi's present. He drove back to Hisugi's were the evil cat waited in the window. -sigh- Ruka said as he ran through the rain to get inside. He opened the door and a strong, fruity smell hit him like brick. "what's that smell, are you tring to kill me?" Ruka said as he entered the house. The cat meowed and dove under the couch. Ruka walked into the kitchen, again, to find something to eat. Before Hitsugi could say anthing, Ruka was out the door and int othe car again...He forgot his tacos....

Hitsugi rolled his eyes at Ruka as he rushed out the door. He slowly stood up to put his plate back into the kitchen. When he set his plate down he grabbed a bit of his hair, and sniffed it. "Eww...I think it's a bit too fruity..." He said with a disgusted look on his face. One of his cats stared at him, it meowed softly. "Hey..." Hitsugi said walking over to pick her up, she hissed and jumped off of the chair she was sitting on, the small tabby cat ran out of the kitchen. "Hmmph," Hitsugi pouted, "What's up with her?" He said following the small animal into his bedroom.

"...and an extra large soft taco, supreme....ok." Ruka costed up to the frist window and drew out his wallet. 22.36 was what he owed...he handed the lady 30 and old her to keep the change. He pulled up to the second window to get his order, 3 of everything....He was headed back to Hitsugi's when his phone rang. "what?" He awnsered in between bites, " yeah, so?...Fine" then he was in the driveway. Ruka shoved his taco back in the bag and walked inside.

Hitsugi shrugged and walked out of his room. He noticed Ruka coming in. "Where were you?" he asked rubbing the back of his neck. "I've been lonely, and I think you've upset my cat. She won't come near me." He said sitting down on the couch waiting for Ruka to reply...

Ruka held up the bag of tacos and with a full mouth said,"Ta-co Bw-ell". He pulled one out and threw it at Hitsugi. It hit him and fell to the floor were the cats attacked it. Ruka gave Hitsugi a mean look for not catching it..."You owe me $1.50." he said and walked out of the kitchen laughing.

Hitsugi laughed, and picked up the small, torn up bag. "Man...Now I need to vacuum...You shouldn't throw things indoors Ru-san!" He pushed his cats away and moved inot the kitchen. He stood behind Ruka, "So, what'd you get Yomi-san?" he asked, sitting at the table in the kitchen. Hitsugi smiled and stared at Ruka.

Ruka turned to look at Hitsugi with a dumbfounded look, then realized what he ment."You'll see later." He turned back to the window and watched the rain fall. Ruka then turned to the table to eat the rest of his taco. He was going to grab another one when he dropped the bag and ran outside. He had left the window down in the car...The opened the door to find Yomi's gift drenched in water. Ruka ran inside and threw the gift on the table. " Its soaked...Ruined.." his voice trailed off and he sat on nthe ground, with a pencive look on his face. He swiftly got up and shot int Hitsugi's room, into the closet and ran into the livingroom with something in his hand.

Hitsugi stood up and followed Ruka into the living room, "Well, what did you get him? Maybe we can fix it, or buy a new one?" he asked, sitting next to Ruka. Hitsugi patted him on the back "I'm sure Yomi-san would have liked it. How much did it cost? I could go out and buy a new one...Maybe...?"

"no, I need a box that is about that size though..."Ruka took a Piece of paper out of the packet it came in, and drew a big smiliey face on it. Hitsugi gave Ruka the box he asked for and Ruka pasted it on the top. Ruka took the box into the kitchen and stuffed the soaked bow inside.
